Rates and Turnaround
The Final Sound charges a flat rate for each track mastered on projects having 11 or fewer tracks. For CD-length projects of 12 or more tracks (up to 80 minutes of audio), the total cost is $450. There are no additional or hidden costs (rates in US dollars):

For example, mastering a 6-song EP would cost $240. Mastering for a standard CD-length album of 13, 18, or 27 tracks would cost $450. By charging a flat rate for each song or project, you can be assured that each track will receive the attention it requires without incurring any additional expense. In order to receive any discounts for multiple track mastering, all tracks must be submitted at the same time.
Delivery of Masters:
Internet delivery of masters (via FTP or HTTP download) is free. An error-tested production master for replication (using high-quality gold CD media) costs $15 for priority delivery within the U.S. Additional reference masters for general listening cost $5 each.
Payment:
Payment for mastering services is required in advance. Once we have successfully received your tracks, you will receive a PayPal invoice containing instructions on how to make payment. Payment may be made using a credit card, bank transfer, or your own Paypal account. You will not need to signup for a PayPal account if paying by credit card. Conversion from non-US currencies is handled automatically with no additional cost to you.
Turnaround Time:
After you have contacted us and sent in your material, we will listen to it to make sure that there are no problems with any of the audio files. If all checks out well, turnaround time for your project will be 7 business days after receiving payment. In most cases, your project will be finished sooner.
Rush Orders:
Projects are dealt with on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you require your project to be mastered as soon as possible, please phone us to get started right away. Your project will be moved to the front of the queue, and the mastered product will be delivered within two days. There is an additional fee of $10 per track for all rush orders.
